A man from Hertfordshire is due to be sentenced today for the murder of his 19 year old former girlfriend Amelia Arnold. Her body was discovered in woodland in Hatfield last November.
Jack Wall who is 22 and from Hadrian's Walk in Stevenage, has been found guilty of beating Miss Arnold to death after their relationship broke down.
Police have confirmed that the body found in woodland near Hatfield on Sunday is that of 19-year-old Amelia Arnold.
The post mortem also confirmed that Amelia died as a result of head injuries.
Amelia's boyfriend, 22-year-old Jack Wall from Hadrians Walk in Stevenage, has been charged with murder.
Joseph Potter, 41, from Bletchley has also been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Police investigating a suspected murder in Stevenage have found the body of a woman they believe to be 19-year-old Amelia Arnold.
Searches took place in a wooded area off Travellers Lane in Hatfield yesterday.
Although formal identification is yet to be carried out, it is believed they have found Amelia.
A 22-year-old man from Stevenage and a 41-year-old man from Bletchley remain in police custody.
