Husband sentenced for wife's manslaughter

A man's been jailed for seven and a half years for the manslaughter of his wife in their family home on the outskirts of Norwich.

Angela Crompton was found injured at her home in Arminghall in June. She died from serious head injuries two days later in hospital.

In December Thomas Crompton was found not guilty of murder by a jury at Norwich Crown Court but guilty of her manslaughter due to loss of control.

A man's been found guilty of the manslaughter of his wife in their family home on the outskirts of Norwich.

34 year old Angela Crompton was found injured at her home in Arminghall in June this year. She died from serious head injuries two days later in hospital.

39 year old Thomas Crompton was found not guilty of murder by a jury at Norwich Crown Court but guilty of her manslaughter due to loss of control. He will be sentenced in January.

Husband charged with wife's murder

A man's been charged with murder after the death of his wife in Norfolk. 34-year-old Angela Crompton was found injured at her home in Arminghall. She died two days later in hospital.

Thomas Crompton appeared before Norwich Magistrates Court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody.
