18 arson attacks around Ipswich
Suffolk police say they're investigating a spate of arson attacks around Ipswich.
Eighteen incidents have been reported over the last month. Targets have included cars, wheelie bins and even a mobility scooter.
Residents are being urged to take simple precautions including not leaving loose rubbish around bins.
Woman arrested over arson attacks
A woman's been arrested in connection with a series of fires in Cambridgeshire in August. A number of thatched roofs were set alight in the villages of Brampton and Offord near Huntingdon. Police have now arrested a 28-year-old woman from the Huntingdon area on suspicion of arson with intention to endanger life. She's been bailed until November.
Police treating house fire as arson
Investigations are continuing into a suspected arson attack on a house in Essex in which a man had to escape through a downstairs window.
Firefighters were called to Bronte Road, Witham, at 12.20 on Sunday morning to tackle a blaze at a terraced house.
Crews arriving at the scene reported 60 per cent of the ground floor was well alight.
Village on arson alert
People living in the village of Bourn in Cambridgeshire are being told to be on alert after a series of fires were started deliberately.
A field of cut hay was set on fire on July 7th. Since then there have been at least five more small fires in the area.

Police hunt postbox arsonist
Police in Norfolk are looking for a serial arsonist who is setting light to postboxes near Norwich.
Three were set on fire at the weekend in the Thorpe St Andrew and Sprowston area but there have been several other incidents since mid August.
All mail inside the Harvey Lane post box was completely destroyed.
Man jailed for arson attack
A man has been jailed for an arson attack which endangered the lives of a Luton family.
Javed Lal, 43, was jailed for three-and-a-half-years at Luton Crown Court for arson recklessly endangering life.
Lal, of Arundel Road, Luton was arrested in April at Heathrow Airport as he tried to flee the country
Lal was wanted by Bedfordshire Police in connection with an arson involving an ice cream van at a house in Oakley Road, Luton on April 2nd.
He was caught trying to leave the country the day before he was due to speak to officers at Luton Police Station in connection with the investigation.
Lal admitted the charge at an earlier hearing and was sentenced on Wednesday.
