A judicial review into new homes in Suffolk could change planning laws across the country.
Babergh District Council granted permission for houses to be built in East Bergholt, against the recommendations of their local neighbourhood plan.
The plans are about to go before the High Court for a judicial review, which will look at how much weight local authorities should give to neighbourhood development plans.
It will also look at the government's new homes bonus, which provides central government income to authorities as a reward for authorising development.
Suffolk Police has defended it's controversial security campaign, which uses a man dressed as a wolf to break into cars, homes and sheds.
Suffolk Police warn drivers in Babergh to be vigilant following a rise in the number of thefts of catalytic converters.
