Former Spurs defender Sebastien Bassong said he is looking forward to working with Chris Hughton again.
Hughton was the first person to give the Cameroon international a chance after he came to the UK from the French side Metz.
Norwich have completed the signing of defender Sebastien Bassong from Tottenham.
City confirmed the transfer, which is for an undisclosed fee, on their official website just after noon.
Bassong started his career at Metz, before signing with Newcastle in a £500,000 deal during the summer of 2008 .
An £8million move to Tottenham followed when the Magpies were relegated, but the defender found his chances limited last season and so spent a loan spell with Wolves.
Hughton feels Bassong will bring some much needed depth to the Norwich defence as the Canaries

Bassong spent six months on loan with Wolves last season.
