Two people from Essex have been arrested after dozens of Beyonce fans were left out-of-pocket when they were duped into buying fake concert tickets worth thousands of pounds.
A 31-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman from North Weald have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud, after around 140 fans were turned away from the popstar's gig at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester four months ago.
The tickets were offered for sale at more than £100 each.
Tickets for this year's V Festival go on sale this morning. The American singer Beyonce is headlining the event which is being held in August.
Other acts include The Script, Jessie J and Kings of Leon. Thousands of people are expected at the Festival at Highlands Park near Chelmsford.
