Fifteen hundred people turned out to enjoy Benjamin Britten's opera, Peter Grimes, performed in the Suffolk town of Aldeburgh where it's set.
The performance is part of a celebration to mark the composer's centenary. He was one of the leading musicians of the 20th-century.

More than 1,500 people watched a special performance on Aldeburgh seafront last night.
Benjamin Britten's Peter Grimes had an official homecoming in the town in which the opera is set.
It's part of celebrations to mark 100 years since Britten's birth in Lowestoft. There are also shows on Wednesday and Friday night.
