Spectators gathered along the River Yare in Norfolk today as a barge carrying more than 250 tonnes of energy-saving equipment made its way through the county.
It's the first time in many years heavy machinery has been transported along the river. After a delay due to strong winds earlier in the week, the eye-catching freight made its way through Reedham and on to the British Sugar factory at Cantley.
The load was five and a half metres at its widest point meaning it would have caused too much disruption to travel by road.
Congratulations to Norfolk wheelchair tennis player Alfie Hewett.
The Acle High School pupil has just become the junior singles and doubles world champion at a tournament at Tarbes in France. The 15-year-old's success has elevated him to the number one world ranking for his age group.
