The Conservatives have held their majority in St Albans City and District Council but the Liberal Democrats will be pleased with the night they've had.
The Tories lost a seat while the Lib Dems gained two.

Stevenage is one of the safest councils for Labour in the Anglia region with the party having an overall majority since the authority was created in 1973.
The Conservatives have gained four seats which takes their total to 25 as they hold their majority in Rochford.
Thurrock council in South Essex remains hung. The Conservatives are the largest party with 20 seats having gained one. Labour gained three to take their overall to 17.
Labour have increased their majority on Harlow Council after UKIP lost both their seats.
The Conservative also made one gain.
Labour have had an overall majority in Harlow since 2012 and the Conservatives ran the council between 2008 and 2012.
The Conservatives beat Labour by just one vote in Staple Tye ward which was once held by the UKIP.
