Duchess to name cruise liner
The Duchess of Cambridge will officially name a new cruise liner today.
Kate, who is patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices', will travel to Southampton for the naming ceremony of Princess Cruises' 3,600-passenger vessel Royal Princess.
The Duchess has invited the Rowbotham family, from Milton near Cambridge, who received care and support from EACH, to join in with the celebrations.
The charity, East Anglia's Children's Hospices is to benefit from money raised by crew members of a Royal Navy Ice Patrol Ship.
20 members of HMS Protector's Ship's Company have taken part in the event to raise money for the charity.
Dressed as Santa Claus, with one Rudolph, they took part in a run on the ice around Deception Island in the Antarctic.
