Charity to sell Ed Sheeran's clothes on eBay

Suffolk singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has chosen the charity Suffolk Family Carers as one of four charities to benefit from a clear-out of his wardrobe.

The donated clothes will raise money for the Claydon-based charity when they go up for auction online in early May.

Among the items up for grabs will be hoodies and t-shirts with Ed Sheeran’s distinctive paw-print logo on them.

Anna Haley, Fundraiser at Suffolk Family Carers said:

“We are so happy that Ed Sheeran wants to help our charity raise vital funds and this is the perfect way. We expect the online auction of his clothes in early May to cause quite a storm."

Ed's clothes proving a hit for charity shops

Charity shops across Suffolk have found themselves rather busy over the last couple of days thanks to a tweet from singer song writer Ed Sheeran.

Ed who is from Framlingham happened to tweet that he'd donated his whole wardrobe but didn't say who they had gone to.

Ed Sheeran prompts charity shop rush

Charity shops across Suffolk have found themselves rather busy over the last couple of days all thanks to a tweet from singer songwriter Ed Sheeran.

Ed, who is from Framlingham, tweeted over the weekend that he'd donated his whole wardrobe to charity.

However he didn't say which shop customers should head to.

Ed Sheeran one of UK's top "weird crushes"

Suffolk singer Ed Sheeran has scored a high climber on a different type of chart after becoming one of the UK's top "weird crushes".

He has ranked in second place in a list of fanciable stars who are not conventionally good-looking compiled by Heat, shooting up from last year's number 10.

Top of the weird crush 2014 list is TV presenter and comic Matt Richardson, known to viewers for his appearances on The Xtra Factor. The 22-year-old deposed last year's winner, comedian Russell Howard, who has slipped from the top 10 completely.

Danny Boyle's spectacular Opening Ceremony featured a riotous celebration of British music through the last five decades.

The attention now turns to the Closing Ceremony. The show, titled A Symphony of British Music, is expected to feature pop supremos George Michael and the Spice Girls and numerous other British acts.

And could it feature Suffolk's very own Ed Sheeran too? A tweet from this morning gives his followers a strong hint....
