In what was a busy weekend for the Suffolk singer, his album X became the fastest selling of the year.
It comes after a hit performance at Glastonbury in which he performed with Rudimental.
Suffolk singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has thanked his fans for their support, after getting his first number one single in the UK.
Ed, who's from Framlingham, secured the top spot with his track 'Sing', which is co-written and produced by Pharrell Williams.
It sold 124,000 in just seven days according to official chart figures. Sing is the second single release from Sheeran's new album, X, which is due out later this month.
Fans of Suffolk singer Ed Sheeran have another chance to buy some of the star's clothing at an auction today.

Suffolk singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has chosen the charity Suffolk Family Carers as one of four charities to benefit from a clear-out of his wardrobe.
The donated clothes will raise money for the Claydon-based charity when they go up for auction online in early May.
Among the items up for grabs will be hoodies and t-shirts with Ed Sheeran’s distinctive paw-print logo on them.
Anna Haley, Fundraiser at Suffolk Family Carers said:
“We are so happy that Ed Sheeran wants to help our charity raise vital funds and this is the perfect way. We expect the online auction of his clothes in early May to cause quite a storm."
