A Conservative councillor on Tendring District Council in Essex has defected to UKIP.
Anthony Calbourne has been a councillor for 12 years and says he believes the country needs a change, both nationally and locally.
Tendring is the area of NE Essex around Harwich and Clacton. Douglas Carswell won the Clacton by-election in October 2014 after defecting from the Conservatives to UKIP.
He is the sixth person to move to UKIP in the Anglia region in the past few days.
Some have said it's the biggest change in police accountabilty for nearly 200 years as on Thursday we all get to vote for new Police and Crime Commissioners.
Each police force will get one and they'll set crime-fighting priorities and budgets against a background of police cuts. There are four candidates standing in Suffolk.
The county has one of the smaller forces with nearly 1,200 police officers. It has a higher crime rate than either Essex or Norfolk with 61 crimes per 1,000 population. The Constabulary costs £166 each for every man, woman and child in Suffolk.
