Ransom paid to Somali pirates may have been £800,000

It's believed that a ransom of up to 800,000 pounds may have been paid for the release of Judith Tebbutt, the woman from Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire who was kidnapped by Somali pirates.

Judith and her husband David were captured more than 6 months ago, while on holiday at the Kiwayu Safari Lodge resort in Kenya. He was shot dead during the abduction. As Judith prepares to fly home tonight, the Prime Minister praised her courage.
