MK Dons sign Jimmy Bullard

MK Dons have signed former Ipswich Town player Jimmy Bullard on a short term deal.

The midfielder has put to pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at StadiumMK until 31st December.

He is manager, Karl Robinson's fifth signing of the summer, joining Alan Smith, Jon Otsemobor, Ryan Lowe and Anthony Kaye.

Bullard will wear the number 13 shirt is available for this weekend's game.

Speaking to the club's website he said:

"I came up to speak to Karl last night and I loved what he had to say and, to be fair, he has given me the opportunity to play football which I have missed.

"I've had a nightmare with injuries and I have been out of the game so I'm glad to be back."

Ipswich Town have announced that midfielder Jimmy Bullard is set to leave the club.

Ipswich have agreed a deal with the 33-year-old to end his contract one year early.

Bullard signed from Hul City last summer, following an impressive loan spell at the end of the 2010/11 season, but made just 13 starts for the Blues last year.
