Police hunt smash-and-grab thieves

Police in South Cambridgeshire are hunting thieves who smashed their way into three shops at the weekend.

Wearing balaclavas, they used a crowbar to break into the Falkner Store in Sawston early on Saturday morning. Once inside they stole alcohol and cigarettes. The Co-op and the Bakery, both in Linton, were also targetted.

Detectives are linking all three break-ins, and are keen to hear from anyone who saw a silver Subaru Impreza estate in the area.
