Members of the Colchester Military Wives Choir will be preforming at Westminster today.
They've been invited to sing at a Remembrance concert by Colchester's MP Sir Bob Russell.
Before the concert begins members of the choir will lay a wreath at Westminster Abbey.
The performance of the Military Wives choir over the last few years has certainly brought to our attention the role that the partners of those in the armed forces play.
While husbands are on active duty in the danger spots around the world including Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya it's the wives who keep things going at home and singing has been a source of great strength to them.
None more so than at Colchester Garrison, home to 2nd and 3rd Battalion of the Parachute Regiment. Their Military Wives have performing at St Botolph's Church in Colchester.
