The People's Millions in numbers

ITV and The Big Lottery Fund have again joined up to give away grants of up to £50,000 to community groups.

Since it launched nine years ago, The People's Millions has awarded:

  • £31 million to 599 community projects
  • 3.3 million votes cast by members of the public
  • 76 awards this year across ITV worth a total of £3.8 million
  • In 2014 there will four grants in the ITV Anglia East region and four more in the ITV Anglia West region

The People's Millions is back.

ITV and the Big Lottery Fund are offering four grants in the ITV Anglia East region and four grants in the ITV Anglia West region of up to £50,000 to projects that improve the lives of people in their local communities.

We're looking for applications from a whole range of organisations or community-based projects.

You could be a voluntary or community organisation, a school, Local Authority, Health Body, a branch of an organisation or a partnership.

You can enter any time until noon on 16 May 2014.


Monday's People's Millions winners for Anglia West

On Monday 25 November two projects went head to head in a public vote to win a Big Lottery cheque for £50,000.

They were the Alcohelp project in West Essex who wanted to take their drink awareness programme into more schools and the Friends of Coronation Park in Corby who would use the money to create a sensory garden for the town.
