11-year-old girl racially abused in street

Norfolk Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after an 11-year-old girl was racially abused in Norwich.

The child was approached just after midday on Tuesday, October 13, in the Colegate area by a man who shouted racist comments at her before walking off.

Officers are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone who may recognise the man in the images.

They are asked to call PC John Fuller at Bethel Street Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

'It's Not Cool' and 'Lack of Respect' - two views of racism expressed at an event at Norwich City Football Club. It was staged by Norfolk County Council in partnership with the 'Show Racism the Red Card' campaign.
