A Cambridgeshire councillor could be named as the new UKIP leader today.
Lisa Duffy, who represents Ramsey, is one of the favourites to replace Nigel Farage after he stepped down in July.
The announcement will be made at UKIPs autumn conference in Bournemouth.
Almost 50 firefighters tackled a huge blaze on an industrial estate in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire last night.
The fire service was called just after 10.30pm to High Lode Industrial Estate in Stocking Fen Road. When crews arrived they found flames coming through the roof of an industrial unit used as a car bodyshop.
Residents in the surrounding areas were asked to keep their windows and doors closed while firefighters tackled the blaze. The flames were finally put out at 2.30am this morning.
Fire officers are conducting a fire investigation into the cause of the fire.
A man arrested in connection with an historic murder in Cambridgeshire has been released on police bail.
Andrew Bedford, 27, from Huntingdon disappeared on September 28, 1990 but was found dead in a garage in Ramsey near Peterborough later that evening. Police believe he had been shot with a shotgun.
A 56-year-old man from Southampton has been bailed until the 7th of April. He was one of eight people arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder. The other seven have also been released on police bail.

A man who sexually assaulted a woman in Cambridgeshire as her young son slept nearby has been jailed for two years.
Adam Righelato, who's 21, assaulted the woman in Ramsey in February of this year. He also stole the victim's jacket and handbag.
Righelato, of no fixed address, was convicted of sexual assault, threats to kills and two counts of theft following a trial at Peterborough Crown Court. He was cleared of attempted rape.
Two women have escaped a fire at a house in Cambridgeshire. Fire crews were called to the incident at 5.35 this morning at The Avenue in Ramsey.
The two casualties were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. One was also treated for burns to her legs. An investigation has begun to find out what caused the fire.
