Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Letchworth.
A woman, who is in her 50s, was walking across a railway bridge near to Icknield Way when she was threatened by an offender, who took her bag. It happened last Tuesday (July 19th) at around 9.30am.
A 54-year-old man from Norwich is being questioned in connection with a raid on a bank in the city.
Armed police were called to the Royal Bank of Scotland in Queen Street yesterday afternoon after reports that a man had demanded money from a cashier.
The man fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash heading towards London Street.
A police helicopter was used to assist officers on the ground in the search for the man. It's still unclear whether a firearm was used during the incident but no-one was injured.

A man wearing a balaclava entered the Grasshopper Off Licence shortly before 8.40pm brandishing what the shopkeeper believed was a concealed gun.
The shopkeeper handed over cash and was left shaken but unharmed.
Three men have been charged following a robbery in Mildenhall which left a 76-year-old woman with a fractured arm, head and facial injuries.
It happened on the evening of Saturday 10 March; the woman was walking along Kingsway in the town when her handbag was grabbed.
Derek McCray, a 22-year-old from Heath Road, Brandon has been charged with robbery.
Bjorn Grahn, a 20-year-olf of Riverside Close, Mildenhall has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
Sean Woods, a 21-year-old of Girton Close, Midlenhall has been charged with robbery.
Woods has also been charged with two counts of theft from person relating to separate incidents in Mildenhall on the 18 and 23 February 2012.
