Stevenage have signed Josh McQuoid on loan from fellow League Two side Luton Town until the end of the season.

The former Bournemouth player joined The Hatters in June 2015 on a three-year deal, where he's scored seven goals in 43 times appearances.

Boro Manager Darren Sarll believes his new signing will make a big impact at the Lamex Stadium between now and the end of the season.

Josh is an attacking player, a very intelligent player and a player I have admired over the last eight or nine years.

It is really important we bring in the right character as our dressing is a real tight knit environment.

As a player he has won leagues, played in the championship and he is a winner. He will definitely give us a different dimension or point to attack compared to what we have had.

– Darren Sarll, Stevenage manager
