Man charged over murder at shopping centre

A man has been charged with the murder of a 21-year-old from Milton Keynes at an east London shopping centre.

Beniamin Pieknyi was stabbed to death at the Stratford Centre on Tuesday, 20 March.

Vladyslav Yakymchuck was arrested on suspicion of murder and subsequently charged on Sunday.

He was further charged with three counts of robbery, one count of theft and possession of a bladed article.

Yakymchuck has been remanded in custody to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court at a later date.
