Hopefuls for this year's The X Factor on ITV packed a Norfolk pub last night to audition to take part in the show.
They were at The Bird Cage in Norwich for an open mic style evening. The singers were watched by a panel of judges from the show, who will decide if they go through to the next round. Successful performers will be invited to sing in front of The X Factor's famous line-up of judges later in the year.
More than 300 families across the East of England will benefit from sales of X Factor winner Sam Bailey's single, Skyscraper, which is this year's Christmas number one.
East Anglia's Children's Hospice is to get a share of the money that's going to the charity 'Together for Short Lives'.
With three hospices in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk costing thousands of pounds to run each day, the money will help them to continue delivering care.
