Fire Fighters, Police and the Ambulance Service all attended a road traffic accident in Essex yesterday, which involved three children.
A woman in her sixties was air lifted by East Anglian Air Ambulance Service to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious pelvic injuries.
In a statement Essex Police said: "Police officers were called to Colchester Road, Tiptree, after a silver Hyundai estate car came off the road and was in collision with a tree."
"This happened just after 11.30am yesterday (Saturday November 16). The occupants of the car, believed to be two adults and three children, were taken to Addenbrooke’s hospital for treatment. The road was closed for just over two hours whilst the vehicle was recovered."

A 13-year-old boy from Tiptree in Essex has been crowned the Young Magician of the Year by the Magic Circle.
Joe Oyelade, who's a pupil at Thurstable school in Tiptree, won the title at his first attempt.
His passion for magic originated from his trips to magic shows in Las Vegas when he was six. Joe wants to be a professional magician.

A charity Strawberry Race at Tiptree near Colchester has raised £2,000 for the Essex Air Ambulance.
In it's 7th year the race attracts fruit pickers from all over the country. They have 60 minutes to collect as many strawberries as possible.
Teams take part as well as individuals and it's all to raise money for charity. Now a cheque for £2,000 will be handed over to the Essex Air Ambulance.
This years race was delayed because of the cold springer, it's normally held in mid-June.
Now in its seventh year, the Tiptree Strawberry race is as popular as ever. Normally held in mid-June, it's late this year because of the cold spring.
The aim is to pick as many strawberries as possible in 60 minutes and raise some money for the Essex Air Ambulance.
Due to the chilly conditions, for the first time the race is being held on the 4th July, American Independence day. The winner of the best fancy dress was Joyce Thomas from Diss in Norfolk who dressed as the Statue of Liberty.
