There are train delays of up to an hour on Greater Anglia services between Stratford and Southend Victoria in Essex due to lightning strike.
Lines in both directions are blocked and trains may be delayed by up to 60 minutes. Engineers are en route to assess the problem.
Drivers are being warned of delays on the A120 in Essex from Monday because of roadworks.
The Highways Agency says safety work will start on the A120 at Little Bentley between Colchester and Harwich and last for 10 days.
There will be lane closures between 8.30am and 4.30pm on the eastbound carriageway at the A133 Hare Green Interchange.
New signs are being erected along with foundation posts for average speed cameras which will be installed at a later date. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel.
Various problems on the rail line between Norwich and London are causing major delays. A tree on overhead lines also disrupted trains between Cambridge and London.
A signalling and points fault earlier at London Liverpool Street was preventing access to and from platform 7 to 10. Train services on all Abellio Greater Anglia routes into London are affected by this problem.
West Anglia route services serving Stansted Airport, Bishop’s Stortford and Cambridge are being disrupted because of a tree on the overhead wire earlier on the London bound line between Stansted Airport and Sawbridgeworth.
Trains on these routes will be altered, or cancelled at short notice. The tree obstructing the overhead wires has now been removed but disruption is expected until 10.30am.
A man's in a life threatening condition following a crash between a car and lorry at Yoxford in Suffolk this afternoon.
The driver of the car has been airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
The lorry overturned into a nearby field, but the driver wasn't hurt.
Police have had to close a northbound stretch of the A12 at Yoxford, but the southbound carriageway is also being affected.
The closure is causing disruption for traffic heading to the Latitude Festival at Henham Park near Southwold.
Drivers are being told to avoid the area and the road is expected to be closed until at least 7pm.
There are delays on the A1 northbound in Cambridgeshire after a fuel spillage at B661 Perry Road, at the Buckden roundabout.
One lane has been closed and there is congestion up to Bell Lane, the Southoe turn off.
There are delays on the A12 London bound after an accident just before Marks Tey on the A12 in Essex.
One lane is blocked after a collision between a car and a van.
It's affecting traffic from Junction 25 to Junction 26.
Train services between Norwich and London Liverpool Street are being disrupted after a person was hit by a train near Diss.
Greater Anglia say trains between Liverpool Street and Norwich may be cancelled, delayed, or revised at late notice.
They also say Liverpool Street to Norwich services are terminating, and starting, at Stowmarket in Suffolk.
Replacement buses are now starting to run between Stowmarket, Diss and Norwich.

The M11 between Stansted and Harlow has now completely re-opened following a chemical spill last night which closed the road since 5pm Thursday.
The road is now open between junction 7 and 8.
Operations Manager for the Highways Agency Caner Okanay said. "The nature of the chemical involved meant that we had to ensure none of it reached the water course. This meant we had to jet wash the carriageway. We would like to thank drivers for their patience last night and this morning."
