Suffolk Police are linking three burglaries that happened in the Trimley and Kirton areas yesterday. The first happened in Trimley Road, Kirton between 10:15am and midday when someone forced a rear patio door. A laptop was stolen.
The second incident occurred in Kirton Road, Trimley when some cash, a gold ladies watch and a satnav were taken.
The third burglary also happened in Kirton Road, Trimley. Two men were seen leaving the rear of the premises and driving away towards Felixstowe in a black Peugeot.
On all three occasions a rear door was damaged in order for the offenders to reach through and unlock the door.
A teenage boy has died following a collision between a Fiat Punto and two lorries on the A14.
The accident took place yesterday afternoon on the eastbound carriageway close to the Trimley St Mary slip road.
The driver of the Punto, a woman in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A teenage passenger was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, but Suffolk Police today revealed that he had died.
A second passenger, a man in his sixties, suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to Ipswich Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
A 50-year-old man from Dovercourt was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been released on police bail and is due to return on Tuesday 16 October.
