A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving nearly a year after a crash which killed a cyclist.
Frances Davies, 42, died after being hit by a van on the A133 at Weeley, near Clacton, on August 29th 2015.
The 42-year-old, from Frinton, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridgeshire and later died.
Sebastian Higgins, 33, an electrician from Archery Fields in Clacton, has been charged and is due to appear before Colchester magistrates September 13th.
