Police have confirmed that the body of a 15-year-old boy recovered the River Nene in the Woodford/Denford is that of Daniel James McCullagh from Woodford.
Police received a call reporting a missing person in the River Nene in the Woodford/Denford area at 2.57pm yesterday.
Following a search of the area together with Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service, East Midlands Ambulance Service and the Environment Agency, the body of Daniel McCullagh was recovered.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and have prepared a report for the Coroner.
