A man from Hertfordshire who smuggled hundreds of millions of pounds worth of drugs into the UK has been jailed for 30 years.
Adegboyega Adeniji, who is 48 and comes from Hemel Hempstead, was stopped by border officers at Heathrow after he arrived on a flight from Amsterdam in 2011.
Searches of his two suitcases revealed they contained 31 kilos of cocaine, 5 kilos of heroin and 2 kilos of methamphetamine.
When investigators searched his rented flat they found 23 suitcases, many of which tested positive for drugs.
UK Border Agency staff believe he was a major figure in the drugs underworld.
