Appeal after One Stop robbery

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an armed robbery at the One Stop Shop in Stotfold on 1st April.

Two offenders entered the Regent Street store at approximately 10pm and threatened two female members of staff with a knife before taking cash and tobacco.

“It is believed there were two men involved in this crime and both wore light coloured clothing with masks covering their faces. It is possible that someone saw two people loitering outside the shop during the evening but as yet haven’t realised what they saw may help this inquiry. I would urge anyone with information to contact the police, in confidence.”

– Detective Constable Lynn Adams, Bedfordshire Police

A 21 year old man was arrested by officers shortly after the incident.

Anyone with information about this incident can contact DC Adams, in confidence, on 01234 275011, or Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
