Cable thefts fall on Anglia's rail network

The number of cable thefts on Anglia's rail network has started to fall. Since January there have been just two attacks on our region's railways - a big decrease compared to July when there was a high of 26 thefts in one month.

Network Rail and British Transport Police say the success in tackling the crimes is due to a new task force and a change in legislation.
