MEP raises refinery concerns

The future of the Coryton oil refinery in Essex and the 1,000 staff it employs will be raised at the European Union today (May 15).

The refinery is still producing fuel even though it's parent company went into administration but an agreement to keep it open runs out at the end of the month.

Euro MP Richard Howitt is in Brussels seeking guarantees about the plant's future.
