No prosecutions after 'dog attack'

The Crown Prosecution Service says there is not enough evidence to prosecute a dog owner after it allegedly attacked a 5-year-old girl.

The family of a five year old girl from Great Notley in Essex who was allegedly attacked by a dog while playing in a friend's garden, has been told no-one will be prosecuted. Abbie Varrow underwent emergency surgery and has been left with scars to her face and nose since the attack.
