Silverstone managing director Richard Phillips has issued an "unreserved apology" to fans after the traffic mayhem that has caused huge disruption to F1 fans trying to get to the British Grand Prix with twenty thousand who hold public parking tickets being turned away again this morning.
Thousands were left stranded in traffic jams outside the Northamptonshire track yesterday as the first two practice sessions ahead of Sunday's race.
Mr Phillips has admitted the financial hit is likely to run into seven figures.
