Body confirmed as Peter Reeve
Police have confirmed that the man they were hunting in connection with the shooting of an off-duty policeman in Clacton has been found dead in Writtle, Essex.
Essex Police Chief Constable Jim Barker-McCardle said Peter Reeve was found dead in Writtle churchyard near Chelmsford.
He had a weapon with him. No police shots were fired.
