A man has been charged with four offences after a firearms incident in Halstead in Essex.
Police were called to White Horse Avenue on the morning of Wednesday 25 July after a man was allegedly shot in the face with an air pistol.
29-year-old Henry Gaskin, of Long Green in Cressing, was arrested in Braintree later that day. He has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, assault causing actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and possessing cannabis.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday 27 July).
