Olympians head home from Stansted

With the curtain falling on the London Olympic Games last night, athletes have begun to head home.

So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, adieu

Martin Stew was at Stansted Airport to bid farewell to some of the World's greatest athletes.

Hundreds of Olympians were jetting out from the Essex airport, including Australia's gold medal cycling champ Anna Meare's and Laura Asadauskaite who won the last gold of the games.

Reporter Martin Stew grabbed a word with some of the people who made London 2012, such a memorable Olympic games.
