The East has another airport linked to the capital. After London Stansted and London Luton you can now add London Southend to the list.
The airport, owned by the Stobart group,has recently undergone a £100m redevelopment, including a new hotel and train station.
Work to expand the terminal should be complete by the summer of 2014. Serena Sandhu reports.
