Thousands await GCSE results
Thousands of students across the region will be collecting their GCSE results later today.
This could be one of the last school years to take the exams as the government is looking at plans to scrap the qualifications altogether.
It wants to introduce what it says would be tougher tests more geared towards the workplace.
