A couple in their forties have been rescued after their inflatable boat capsized in Blakeney off the North Norfolk coast. The couple had been out mackerel fishing on Friday when they were hit by a wave at dusk.
The woman who is from Perthshire in Scotland was wearing a life jacket but the man who's from Cambridgeshire wasn't. They managed to raise the alarm by setting off red flares.
The Wells inshore lifeboat and the all-weather lifeboat were called out but the couple were rescued by another boat.
The woman was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital suffering from shock. The man was unharmed.
