Appeal to save historic painting for the nation

The Fitzwilliam museum in Cambridge is appealing for donations to help buy a 17th Century painting worth £14m. But a government scheme means it could buy the piece for a lot less.

The "Extreme Unction" by French artist Nicolas Poussin is described as an exceptional masterpiece and today it went on display in London as part of the fundraising campaign.
