Protest as livestock exports are switched to Ipswich
Ipswich could be at the centre of a protest against live animal exports after a ship which was due to leave Ramsgate in Kent is to dock in Suffolk instead.
The Joline will be transporting livestock from across the UK to Calais. Campaigners from Ramsgate are on their way to Ipswich to protest.
It follows the suspension of live animal exports from the Kent port after the deaths for more than 50 sheep earlier this week.
