Police use Facebook in bid to catch vandals

Police in Northamptonshire have paid for advertising on the social media site Facebook, in an attempt to trace vandals thought to be responsible for the death of a Northampton woman.

Pharmacist Joanna Smith, 32, died in a car crash on the A45 in April after her tyres were deliberately punctured.

Police say the advert will reach more than 40,000 people in the town aged between 13 and 50. It's the first time they've used the site for a witness appeal.
