Prosecution has described Paul Taylor as "sexual predator" willing to use violence to get his own way.

Taylor's been charged with 3 counts of rape, 1 attempted rape, 1 buggery, 1 indecent assault and 1 murder, against 4 separate women from 1979 and 1980.

The trial is expected to last for 8 weeks.

The jury of 8 women and 4 men has been sworn in.

Taylor denies the charges.
