A mum her child and her baby have been rescued by the coastguard after her car became stuck in flood water on The Strood causeway near Colchester.
The rescue comes just a day after ten people were rescued from vehicles after being trapped by high tides at Mersea Island.
Thames Coastguard was called just before 2pm. The West Mersea Coastguard Rescue Team and West Mersea RNLI inshore lifeboat were sent to the scene, along with a rescue helicopter from RAF Wattisham.
The car was described as almost floating, the three were picked up by the lifeboat and taken to safety.
