Bond flying ace gets top award

A veteran pilot from Norfolk will receive a special award tonight to mark a lifetime's contribution to the aerospace industry.

Ken Wallis, 96, and is in his 75th year of flying. He pioneered the use of auto-gyro aircraft and holds 17 world aviation records.

He's also acted as a stunt pilot in a James Bond film. He will be honoured at a dinner in London by the Guild of Air Pilots and Navigators.
