Southend United must pay Aldershot £17,500 for the services of Anthony Straker after a tribunal hearing.
The left-back moved between the two clubs over the summer having been out of contract at the Recreation Ground, but as he was under the age of 24 and was offered fresh terms by the Shots so the Hampshire club are due a compensation payment.
Southend and Aldershot could not agree on a figure and that has now finally been set by the Professional Football Compensation Committee (PFCC).
