Hunstanton remembers its historic hero

A former American airman who was the hero of the devastating North Sea floods of 1953 floods has died just days before he was due to fly back to Norfolk to to be honoured.

Reis Leming single-handedly rescued 27 people from flood water at Hunstanton where 31 people died.

He was 22 at the time and would have been 82 today.
