The Met Office has issued warnings that more wet and windy weather at the weekend could lead to more flooding.
Tonight will be cold and dry with mainly clear skies. A widespread frost and also some areas of mist and fog developing, mainly in rural parts. Cloud increasing from the south later. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
There may be some glimmers of brightness in the north of the region tomorrow morning. But it will soon become generally cloudy.
Rain developing late morning in southern parts and across the rest of the region during the afternoon, along with strengthening easterly winds - which could gust up to 60mph overnight. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
The rain will clear to the north during Sunday, leaving drier and brighter weather behind. Another area of low pressure will bring further outbreaks of rain on Monday and Tuesday.
