A Flood Warning is in force for the North Bank Road alongside the River Nene, east of Peterborough and west of Dog-in-a-Doublet Sluice.
The Environment Agency says flooding is expected for the North Bank Road alongside the River Nene to the east of Peterborough and the West of the Dog-in-a-Doublet Sluice.
"Heavy rain in the last few days has caused river levels to rise on the River Nene. This is expected to lead to localised flooding at North Bank Road. This flooding is expected to continue for at least the next ten days. We will closely monitor the situation and issue further updates if required.
Whilst the Flood Warning is in force, the Local Authority will close North Bank Road. Diversionary routes will be put in place and further updates will be available through local media."
